Ms. Goche has been a practicing attorney for over 35 years and is admitted to practice in the state of New York as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of New York. Ms. Goche was also admitted to the VA bar in 1988.
Consumer bankruptcy, residential real estate and wills & estates have been Ms. Goche’s main areas of practice since 1990. In addition to having years of experience handling Chapter 7 cases, Ms. Goche has also managed an extensive Chapter 13 portfolio where she has applied her knowledge of real property law and residential real estate to the areas of loss mitigation, loan modifications and lien avoidance. She is particularly skilled at handling real estate transactions for those in the midst of bankruptcy and foreclosure and she has handled hundreds of closings (including houses, condos, co-ops, commercial properties and vacant land) throughout Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Kings, Queens, Nassau and Kings Counties; representing Purchasers, Sellers and Lenders.
Ms. Goche is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and is a multi-year recipient of AVVO’s “Client’s Choice for Real Estate Award.” She is a member of the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute and belongs to several real estate related groups, including the ABA Section of Real Property, the Westchester & Rockland Trusts and Estates Attorneys, New York Real Estate Society among several others. She also has extensive experience in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates as well as the implementation of various estate planning strategies, having worked of Counsel for several years to attorney Mark S. Charwat, former president of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County.
